PIPELINE LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM

Pipelines are widely used in industries all over the world. They are mainly used for the transportation of oil, petroleum, compressed air, water etc from one place to another. Transportation may be of long distances ranging from meters to kilometers or may be of large capacity by varying the diameter of the pipe. Thus there is more probability of leak because of the surrounding environmental conditions.

So an active system needs to be implemented in all industries to prevent such leakages. The active systems need to continuously monitor the pipes for leak. This reduces disaster and pollution to the surroundings. Thus proper precautions need to be taken to minimize the environmental and economical impact of the leak. Leakage in pipes especially in oil or petroleum pipes leads to serious hazards to the environment and it pollutes the environment and makes life miserable. Therefore these leaks need to be found out before it happens to take place. Thus precautions need to be taken to avoid these leaks in pipes effectively to its maximum possible limits.
